We want everyone to be able to use this website and talk to The Custard, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
What we've done
- You can type or talk to The Custard, whichever suits you.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the animations calm down or stop.
- Text is high contrast, and the page still works when you zoom in to 200%.
- The artwork has a short description for screen readers, and purely decorative animation is hidden from them.
What we're still working on
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is new and hasn't had an independent accessibility audit yet, so there may be things we've missed.
